 विवर्त। 

विवर्त यानि भ्रांतिजन्य प्रतीति। कल्पित रूप।

जैसे रस्सी को रस्सी समझना सत्य है परंतु सर्प समझना भ्रांति है। इसी प्रकार नामरूपात्मक जगत भ्रांति है और ब्रह्म सत्य। 

एक बार जगत को ब्रह्म (शिव) रूप में देख लिया फिर भ्रांति सब ग़ायब। सब कलह शांत हो जाएँगे। 

लेकिन रस्सी के बदले सर्प रूप में देखते रहे, तो सुख दुःख, हानि लाभ, राग द्वेष, जन्म मरण के चक्कर में घुमते रहना और पीसते रहना पड़ेगा। 

यह दिख रहा जगत परमात्मा का स्पन्द है। एक है, वही है। लेकिन उसको विभाजित करके देखना और खुद को भी उससे अलग- विशेष करके देखना अहंकार जनित भ्रांति है। 

यहाँ न किसी की मौत है न जन्म। बस जैसे एक ज़िन्दा वृक्ष के पत्ते झड़ रहे हैं और नये लग रहे है, वैसे ही व्यक्त अव्यक्त यह सिलसिला चल रहा है। चैतन्य वृक्ष ज्यों का त्यों मौजूद ही रहता है। सदा सर्वदा नित्योदित। हमें अनित्य से हटकर नित्य में ठहरना है। 

यहाँ सिर्फ़ एक ही लोक है। अद्वैत। वही परम धाम है। दूर कहीं और कोई जगह या स्थान नहीं जहां हमें एडवांस बुकिंग करानी है। 

बंधन हमारी नासमझी का है। मुक्ति हमारी समझ बदलते ही उजागर हो जाएगी। सब मुक्त ही है क्योंकि सब शिव के स्पन्द है। बस अलग रहे तो पिट गये और विराट में मिल गये तो मिट गये। मिट गये मतलब समाप्त नहीं हुए लेकिन जीवरूप से शिवरूप हो गये।

विचार।

  विचार। 

“विचार बड़ा सार है, उसका रूपया एक हज़ार है”। मेरी माँ हमें सुभाषित के ज़रिए जीवन शिक्षा का पाठ पढ़ाती थी। एक विचार ही है जो हमें दुर्जन या सज्जन बनाता है। उच्च विचार ऊर्ध्व गति करायेंगे और निम्न विचार अधोगति। 

सृष्टि का सृजन, पालन -संवर्धन और संहार एक विचार ही है। “एकोहम बहुस्याम” विचार पर ही तो यह दुनिया क़ायम है। द्वैतवाद, अद्वैतवाद, द्वैताद्वैत, विशिष्टाद्वैत, ईश्वरवाद, ना ईश्वरवाद, इत्यादि विचार ही है जिसपर कई धर्म और संप्रदाय टिके है।

अर्थनीति भी विचार से चलती है। पूंजीवाद हो या साम्यवाद या कोई अन्यवाद, विचार ही तो है। चाहे दायाँ कहो, बायाँ कहो, मध्य कहो, दायाँ मध्य, मध्य दायाँ, बायाँ मध्य, मध्य बायाँ, जो भी नाम दे दो, है तो विचार ही। 

हिन्दुओं की वर्ण और जाति व्यवस्था एक विचार का ही परिणाम है। लोगों ने मान लिया इसलिए चलता रहा। 

यह राजनीति क्या है? एक विचार ही तो है। जिसने अपना विचार जितने ज़ोर से, संसाधन जुटाकर ज़्यादा प्रसारित किया उसका राज चलता है। हिटलर का उदय भी विचार से हुआ और अस्त भी विचार से। 

जैसे लोहा लोहे को काटता है ऐसे ही यह भी सच है कि विचार की काट विचार ही है। एक को नष्ट करने दूसरा विचार चाहिए। जिसको नष्ट करना है उसकी बुराई करते रहना है और जिसको आगे करना है उसकी वाहवाही। जिस जहाज़ पर चढ़ गये बस वही के बन गये, वही बन गये। 

बस एक ही बात प्रमुख है। स्वातंत्र्य। यह हमारा स्वातंत्र्य है कि हम किस विचार जहाज़ में चढ़े जिसमें हमारी भलाई है और दूसरों की भी भलाई। विचार ही हमारी आध्यात्मिक, आर्थिक, सामाजिक, राजकीय आज़ादी का सूत्रधार है। 

विचार से ही हमारा बंधन है और विचार से ही मुक्ति।

इसलिए स्वतंत्र बनो। स्वस्थ विचारवान बनो। 

स्वतंत्रता में स्वस्थता और स्वस्थता में स्वतंत्रता।

 Rising fast, the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi are scheduled to open in January and February 2024 respectively. 

Technology has touched all walks of life and therefore it has made the construction of temple easier and faster in 21st century. Otherwise, who would think of making a Stone Temple 32 metres tall using millions of handmade bricks and 30000 pieces of stone with intricate designs at a stretch of a dessert of Abudhabi (off Sheikh Zayed road, Abu Mureikha district) in UAE. It’s coming up very fast. 

The walls of the temple will retell ancient stories of Hindu scriptures. Each stone here speaks. The interior part of the temple is made of Italian marble and the exterior is made of pink sandstone. Marble part will hv centralised AC system as the temperature of the area rise upto 50.7 degree Celsius in summer. There is a trench of water feature planned to have water from river Ganga and Yamuna, connected with a Library, the knowledge, river Saraswati. 

After the base work, the stone temple becomes an assembly of stones carved and transported from India and assembled at the site of the temple. The artisans at the site give finishing touch and fix carved stones as per the design. Each stone carries a gap in which another stone is fixed. No steel is used. It has reduced the need of manpower at the site and economise the logistics. However the assembling is a smart work.  Each stone piece carved in India is stamped with a specific number and the same code is marked on the carvings that will encircle it. Packaging for the pieces is also branded with the code before being sent to the UAE from India. The project manager at the site checks floor plans for numeric codes to match the carvings being installed and accordingly the artisans give finish touch and fix the stones as per the sequencing. A minor mistake of damaging the piece of stone or replacement of x with y can hamper the work in progress. 

The land has been granted by the President Sheikh Mohamed, the temple is designed by a Christian architect, the contractor company of Parsi, Shapurji Palanji; the funders are NRIs and Indians. What to talk about their generosity. One of the biggest company in sea transport (South Indian) made it free transport of stone and materials for making the temple. 

The work of ground floor is complete. The work of the first floor with engravings that depict the lives of Hindu gods, along with friezes decorated with musicians, dancers, peacocks, camels, horses and elephants is in progress. The brackets will have carvings of Hindu deities. How great the work of artisans that brings life to the stones. The life of the temple is planned for 1000 years as stone gives longevity. 300 hi-tech sensors installed throughout the Mandir, which provide valuable live data of pressure, temperature, settlement, deflection and stresses created by seismic movements, among other things. 

What stood out the most, was the Mandir's inclusivity, which features intricate carvings of Hindu Avatars and Rishis, as well as cultural and moral value tales from ancient civilizations. The Mandir's approach to 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' is a true testament to its commitment to fostering unity and harmony among all peoples, regardless of their backgrounds or beliefs.

There is a Church besides the temple. A mosque is coming up. Slowly the area is going to represent all faiths in the world. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Khalifa, the ruler of Abu Dhabi is the President of UAE and is a progressive leader. When the tallest building of the world, the sky scraper Burj Dubai was built the then Khalifa and ruler of Abu Dhabi bought is by paying much higher than the cost to save the developers from financial problems and renamed the building Burj Khalifa. The venture became more profitable than expected. The cost of living is high in UAE but the Indians settled here are happier as the remittances they send to India are increasing.

भज गोविन्दं।

भज गोविन्दं। 

शिव का सदाशिव रूप एक योति/ज्योति स्तंभ है जिसे हम ज्योतिर्लिंग के नाम से जानते हैं और उस भोलेनाथ की पूजा, अर्चना, आराधना करते है। कहा जाता है कि, एक दिन ब्रह्मा और विष्णु को उसे नापने की चुनौती मिली थी। एक उपर की ओर चला और दूसरा नीचे की ओर, लेकिन अनंत शिव के छोर तक कोई न पहुँच पाया। ब्रह्मा ने फिर कपट का सहारा लिया, एक साक्षी खड़ा कर दिया और दावा कर दिया। लेकिन झूठ कैसे चलता? ब्रह्मा ने अपना एक मस्तक और पूज्य स्थान गँवाया और जूठी साक्ष्य केतकी पूजा से बाहर हो गई। 

यह एक रूपक कहानी है। यह पूरा चैतन्य सागर रूप चारों ओर फैला ज्योतिर्मय अकल शिव सदा काल, सर्वदा, नित्योदित, मौजूद ही है। उसमें अनंत सृष्टियों के बनने या बिगड़ने से कोई विकार नहीं होता। अनंत ब्रह्मांड बनके बिखर जाएँ, परंतु यह अकल निश्चल है। उसी की ही तो यह लीला है जो ज्ञान संकोच, बोध संकोच कर सदाशिव से पृथ्वी पर्यंत फैल कर इस जगत खेल में सबको प्रवृत्त रख रही है। 

क्या हमें हर पल, हर घड़ी इस ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन नहीं हो रहे? क्या हम इस ज्योतिर्मय स्तंभ से अनभिज्ञ है? मन हमारा ब्रह्मा है और बुद्धि विष्णु, दोनों चाहे कितनी भी दौड़ लगा ले, इस ज्योतिपुंज का नाप नहीं ले सकते।दौड़नेवाली मछली कितना भी दौड़े समुद्र को पार नहीं कर सकती। उसके मन, बुद्धि, इन्द्रियां, और शरीर की एक सीमा है। उस सीमा को पार कर वह असीम को कैसे नापेंगी और जानेंगी? 

जिस घड़ी मन को छोड़ा, बुद्धि छोड़ीं, शरीर और इन्द्रियों के धर्म से अलग हुए, शिव तो मौजूद ही था, वही था, प्रकट हो गया। शक्कर का पर्वत जहां खड़े थे वहीं चख लिया, शक्कर का स्वाद आ गया। फिर चाहे कितना भी गहरा अंधकार क्यूँ न आ जाए, ज्योतिर्लिंग का बोध कभी अस्त नहीं होता। 

असीम हो असीम का अनुभव करो। मन, बुद्धि, इन्द्रियों, शरीर को उसकी बंदगी में लगा लो जिससे की संकोच हट जाएँ और उजागर शिव प्रकट हो जाए। 

“भज गोविन्दं भज गोविन्दं, गोविन्दं भज मूढ़मते।”

शिव प्रकट ही है, बस ध्यान/ज्ञान नहीं।

Spirituality 

The first priority of any individual is to hv better quality of life without discrimination on the bases of caste or creed. Liberty, equality and justice are more important than the unknown unseen Brahma or Void. 

Even Osho hasn’t discarded the theory of God but suggested to become religious so that one can find him out from within. 

ATMA-Soul-Jeeva-God etc are different interpretations of the existence. Man is surprised with the surroundings and the unique life system on earth and therefore in the journey of uncoding the mystery, discovered something which has been penned down as scriptures. However the reality can’t be written but to experience only. Physics has gone upto 200 particles within the nucleus of the atom but overlooked the observer who is penetrating in the nucleus. 

Spirituality is not an exercise to find out some big master sitting at somewhere up in the sky but to realise the true form of one’s own nature, the existence. One may name him anything after realisation. It is more of an individual experience. How the consciousness blocked within the body mass expands to infinite (reality) is the experience of the Chaitanya. And interestingly, it is only ONE for all, whether you call him Universe/s or God, the Shakti (manifestation) or Shiva (the light).

आनंद की खोज।

 आनंद की खोज। 

तीन दिन पहले एक अनूठी शादी के सत्कार समारोह में जाना हुआ। शाम ढल चुकी थी, मौसम ख़ुशनुमा था और पेट में चुहे दौड़ रहे थे। शादी अनूठी इसलिए थी क्योंकि दुल्हा ६५ साल का विधुर था और दुल्हन ५४ साल की एक प्राध्यापिका। दुल्हा बिल्डर होने से अमीर था और दुल्हन डाक्टरेट की हुई सरस्वती उपासक। लक्ष्मी और सरस्वती का मेल हुआ था। हमने युगल को अभिनंदन दिया और युगल के साथ एक फ़ोटो भी खींचवाई। परंतु अंतःनजर तो खाने की ओर जा रही थी। दुल्हन ने शिष्टाचार भी किया की डिनर लेकर जाइए। मिष्टान्ने इतेरे जनाः। 

हम पहुँच गये सीधे सूप काउन्टर पर। गरमा गरम सूप की चुस्की लेते आनंद आ रहा था। स्टार्टर तो जैसे रखे जाते, वेटर उठा लेते थे। इसलिए जैसे क्रिकेट का कैच लपक लेने फ़ील्डर चौकन्ना हो ऐसे लोग रखते ही झपट लेते थे। आख़िर हमारा नंबर भी लग गया और हमने पनीर और ब्रेड का सूप के साथ आस्वादन लिया। 

अहमदाबाद के मेनू में आजकल मोमो ने जगह बना ली है। तीन प्रकार के टोपींग के साथ गरमा गरम मोमो ने मुँह को रसों से और मन को आनंद से भर दिया।उतने में नज़र पड़ी चाट पर। सेव, पकोड़ी पर खट्टी इमली की मीठी चटनी के साथ दहीं मिलाकर किया छिड़काव डीस और मन दोनों को चटपटा कर रहा था। एक डीस चाट की भी झपट ली। लेकिन अब भूख समाप्त हो रही थी। पेट के थैले की जगह भर चुकी थी। कुछ डेज़र्ट के लिए जगह बनानी थी। फिर भी सोचा एक नज़र मेन कोर्स पर कर ली जाए। तीन प्रकार की मिठाई (हल्वा, कोकोनट रबड़ी और मिट्ठी रोटी), दो सब्ज़ियाँ, दाल चावल, रोटी तंदूरी कुल्चा, पापड़, सलाड, इत्यादि व्यंजनों से काउन्टर लगे हुए थे। लेकिन आइटम देखने और गिनने मात्र से आँख और पैर थकने लगे। मन ही मन सोच रहा था कि कुछ मिनिट पहले जो भोजन अति आनंदप्रद लग रहा था अब आनंद जैसे बुझ ही गया है। अगर पुरानी रस्म होती और कोई रिश्तेदार या नाती आकर बल से मुँह में ठूँस देता तो बजाय हंसी गाली निकल पड़ती। आईसक्रीम पर तो नज़र भी नहीं डाली। सिर्फ़ एक चूरन की जगह थी जो थोड़ा मुखवास डालकर डीनर ख़त्म किया और लौट आए। 

हमारा जीवन भी कुछ यूँ ही इस डीनर जैसा है। जब तक नहीं मिला प्यास बनी रहती है। और जब मिल गया, थोड़ा कुछ भोग लिया फिर व्यक्ति, पदार्थों से मन ऊब जाता है।

सबको एक ही खोज है, आनंद की। लेकिन बाहर जिसमें आनंद देखा वह आख़िर दुःख में परिवर्तित हो जाता है। आनंद भीतर है और खोज बाहर। कैसे मिलेगा?  इसलिए भीतर यात्रा ज़रूरी है। भीतर आनंद का दरिया भरा पड़ा है। अमृत का सरोवर है। एक बार चख लिया, आनंद चिरंजीव हो जाएगा। फिर भीतर बाहर सब एक हो जाएगा। आनंद अंदर भी होगा और बाहर भी। अतः स्थिति बाह्य व्याप्ति। 

भीतर दाखिल हो।

 He is.. He is not…

Ancient world was divided into two major beliefs of creation. The Greek believed in the concept of Ex nihilo nihil fit (nothing coming from nothing) means all things found from pre-existing things. Universe is created from the formless matter from chaos (pre state) and therefore universe is eternal. 

Christianity believed in concept of Creation ex nihilo (creation out of nothing), a theistic answer how matter is not eternal but had created through divine act of a creator/God.

Jews believed that there was pre existence of matter to which God gives form.

Islam believed that God is a First Cause and absolute Creator; He did not create the world from pre-existing matter. 

The Chandogya Upanishad 6.2.1 (Hindu) says before this world was manifested there was only existence, one without a second (एकमेवाद्वितीयम्). The Vedānta scriptures describe this existence as a state of being. It is one without a second. It is pure, all-pervasive, beyond thought and speech, and formless. It is consciousness. If there is a tree, it must have come out of a seed, therefore, before the world was manifested there was existence, one without a second.

Buddhism believes that before its manifestation there was nothingness only and from that nothingness existence emerged. 

Big Bang science theory offers no explanation of cosmic existence but describes first few moments of that existence. 

Majority believe in the idea of ex nihilo which states in summary that everything that exist have a cause. Universe exists therefore it has a cause. In that case, uncaused creator of universe exists who without the universe is beginningless, changeless, immaterial, timeless, spaceless, and infinitely powerful.

KSD (Kashmir Shaiva Darshana) states that He the Param Shiva in his harmonious form as Shiv-Shakti (सामरस्य) sprouts as Sadashiva and takes forms of different elements upto Prithvi and exists within the existence. 

If we believe that I (लघु प्रमाता, the creation) is different than the I (गुरू प्रमाता, the creator), it is duality (द्वैत). But when we believe that the pure I as me is the same and one universal consciousness I, it is non duality (अद्वैत). 

The acts of creation sustenance and dissolution is a play and therefore it can’t be played without the differentiation of the objects and subjects and therefore duality prevails. 

Do you know that computer binary system uses numbers 0, 1 through logical gates and is the base of all computing systems and operations. It enables devices to store, access and manipulate all types of information directed to and from the CPU or memory.

Whether we call him not (0) as परम or yes (1) as शिवशक्ति, the existence of universe is a proof of His existence. 

He is not…He is…00001, 00010, 00011, 00100, 00101, 00110, 00111, 01000…

 शिव प्रमाता। 

हम सब है तो प्रमाता, जो कि बोधात्मक संकोच से अबुद्ध, बुद्ध, प्रबुद्ध और सुप्रबुद्ध श्रेणीयों में विभाजित है। परम की एक विश्वोर्तीर्ण शिवावस्था है और दूसरी विश्वमय चिति-शक्ति अवस्था। एक निःसंकोच स्थिति है और दूसरी बोधात्मक संकोच की। क्या हम जीवन के हर एक पल बोधात्मक संकोच का अनुभव नहीं करते है? शिव स्वातंत्र्य में चित, आनंद, इच्छा, ज्ञान और क्रिया की असीम शक्ति है और सृष्टि, स्थिति, संहार, निग्रह, अनुग्रह के असीमित कृत्य। परंतु बोध संकोच की वजह से हम सब इन सब शक्तियों और कृत्यों का अनुभव तो करते है परंतु सीमित परिपाटी पर। यही बोध संकोच को हटाने का नाम साधना है। 

जो सीमित वाडे में बंद है वह पशु प्रमाता और जिसने अपने पूर्ण स्वातंत्र्य को पा लिया वह पति प्रमाता। पशु भी प्रमाता और पति भी प्रमाता। इसलिए शिव का एक नाम पशुपति है। 

शिव शक्ति के सामरस्य को समझना, बोधात्मक संकोच को हटाना, अपने विश्वमय और विश्वोर्तीर्ण शिव स्वरूप की प्रत्यभिज्ञा (पहचान) करना और उसकी अस्खलित स्पन्द लीला में एकरूप होने में ही मनुष्य जीवन की सार्थकता है। 

आओ हम सब मिलकर अपनी जीवन ज्योति के रहते उसकी पहचान करलें और स्वस्थ हो जाएँ।

शिव यात्रीगण।

 शिव यात्रीगण। 

ब्रह्मांड की रचना को देखें तो एक ऊर्जा है जो स्थूलता की और बढ़ते बढ़ते विविध स्वरूपों में प्रकट होती रहती है। ऊर्जा संकोच ही तो है। इसी संकोच के एक अणु के केन्द्र के विभाजन-विघटन से एटम बोम्ब की ऊर्जा विस्फोटित हो जाती है। शक्ति है। अपार शक्ति। जिसका कोई नाप नहीं ले सकता।शिव की शक्ति। है तो सबकुछ एक, शिवशक्ति सामरस्य। प्रकाश का प्राण। उस प्राण बिना शिव जैसे शव।वही स्पन्द है।यह स्पन्द से ही सदाशिव से पृथ्वी तक के रूप बने है। यही इ से बना ईश्वर। स्वर से व्यंजन और अ से ह तक की अहं सृष्टि। परा पश्यन्ति मध्यमा वैखरी। 

शिव की पाँच शक्ति है और वह पंच कृत्यकारी है। पाँच शक्ति पाँच मुख भी माने जाते है। शक्ति एक ही है पर स्थूलता के स्तर पर अलग अलग नाम दिये गये है। पंच शक्ति है चित, आनंद, इच्छा, ज्ञान और क्रिया। चित यानि चैतन्य, चित का स्थूल रूप आनंद, आनंद का स्थूल रूप इच्छा, इच्छा का स्थूल ज्ञान और ज्ञान का स्थूल क्रिया। चैतन्य से क्रिया तक शक्ति के ही स्थूल रूप। शिव के पाँच कृत्य है सृष्टि, स्थिति, संहार, निग्रह, अनुग्रह। शिव के ही विविध रूप लिए यह सृष्टि बनती है, स्थिति पाती है और विलय हो जाती है। वह निग्रह (रोक) और अनुग्रह (कृपा) करती है। 

जीव शिव की ही लघु आवृत्ति है इसलिए उसमें भी सीमित रूप में पंच शक्ति और पंचकृत्य निहित है। इसी शक्ति और कृत्य के भेद से हमें सृष्टि में विविध प्रतिभाओं के दर्शन होते रहते है। लेकिन कोई विरला ही पूर्ण शिवत्व को शिवकृपा से प्रकट कर सकता है। मूलतः शिव है इसलिए सब की चाह शिवत्व पाने की है। जब तक पूर्ण शिवत्व प्रकट नहीं होता तब तक उसकी यात्रा चालू रहती है।  

अब चाहे शिव यात्रीगण मंदिर परिक्रमा कर लें, नर्मदा परिक्रमा कर लें, या ज्ञान परिक्रमा। पहुँचना तो है एक ही लक्ष्य पर। शिवत्व के। 

शिव ही है। पर मानते नहीं। ईसाइयों में जिसस ने यूँ ही नहीं कहा था कि अगर तुम पहाड़ को हिलाने को कहोगे तो वह हट जाएगा। 

स्पन्द हो शिव के। कोई कम नही।

भीतर देखो।

 भीतर देखो। 

मनुष्य इस पृथ्वी पर कब, कैसे और क्यूँ आया यह रहस्य है। लेकिन जबसे समझ आई तबसे वह कोई अदृष्ट की बंदगी करता रहता है। भय से ही सही लेकिन जब खुद नहीं पहुँच पाता तब कोई विराट के समक्ष अपनी समस्या पीड़ा की बात रखता है। हिन्दू मंदिरों में जाते है, मूर्ति का दर्शन करते हैं फिर दो हाथ जोड़ आँखें बंद कर अपने भीतर जाकर ईश्वर की प्रार्थना करने लगते है। ईसाई गिरजाघर जाते हैं और एक बेंच पर शांत बैठकर बंद आँख से भीतर में परम पिता की प्रार्थना करते है। मुसलमान मस्जिद जाते हैं अथवा जहां है वहीं से नियत वक्त पर आँख बंद कर अल्लाह की दुआ नमाज़ अदा करते है। यहूदी, बौद्ध, जैन, पारसी, सीख धर्म में भी आँखें बंद कर भीतर ही पुकार या आराध्या की जाती है। 

मनुष्य की रचना ही है अजब ग़ज़ब की। उसकी चेतना बाहर जाती है और भीतर। वह इन्द्रियों के सहारे बाहर के जगत को भोगता है और भीतर अपने सोर्स के साथ जुड़कर रीचार्ज होता रहता है। जाग्रत और सुषुप्ति की इस जीवन चर्या के बीच वह कुछ अतीन्द्रिय की तलाश में रहता है। 

सृष्टि की रचना भी कुछ ऐसी ही है। दिख रहा जगत अस्तित्व की बाह्य अभिव्यक्ति है। इस विमर्श को कश्मीर शैव चिति शक्ति के नाम से पहचानता है। बाह्य अस्तित्व के भीतर क्या है वह कोई नहीं जानता। बीग बेंग हुआ और विश्व का प्राकट्य और विस्तार होता चला गया लेकिन उसके पूर्व क्या और उसके पीछे कौन यह खोज अभी भी जारी है। कश्मीर शैव ने उस स्पन्द को पहचाना। प्रकाश की प्रत्यभिज्ञा की और विमर्श की स्पन्दकारिका। अस्तित्व के भीतर शिव (प्रकाश) है जो बाहर चिति (विमर्श) बन प्रकट है। जैसे मनुष्य भीतर बाहर जाने पर दोनों स्थितियों में खुद होते हुए भी दोनों का द्रष्टा साक्षी बनकर अलग है, वैसे ही यह अस्तित्व का भीतर (शिव) और बाहर (चिति) का द्रष्टा साक्षी परम शिव है। है तो सब एक ही सत्ता के अनेक स्वरूप लेकिन सबके विभाजन में संसार है और एकता में समाधान, संदेह निवृत्ति और मुक्ति है। 

अपने परम को सृष्टि परम से जोड़ना और अभेद की एकता करना ही मनुष्य जीवन का परम लक्ष्य है। 

बाहर बहुत चलें। थोड़ा भीतर भी चलें। नींद में तो जाते हैं लेकिन जाग्रत में भीतर चलें। फिर भीतर बाहर की एकता कर इस अस्तित्व के स्पन्द से अपने स्पन्द को जोड़ उसमें लवलीन होते चलें जायें। एक बार चिति से जुड़ गये तो शिव कहाँ छिपा रहेगा? चिति के पल्लू की पीछे शिव ही तो है। व्यक्त अव्यक्त साथ साथ है। अलग थलग नहीं। भीतर बाहर एक ही है सबकुछ। एक ही रंग का मेघधनुष, सब कुछ शिव शिव शिव शिवा।

Festivals in India are celebrations of culture evolved over centuries. India is an agricultural country and is living in villages. It has to grow food and save life from diseases and calamities. Therefore, all our festivals have some connection with either the agricultural season or change of weather and protection of life. Each festival is linked with astronomical events, changing of the earth position with reference to the Sun which has direct impact over the seasons, cropping and human health. 

Holi is a festival of spring, the mating and reproduction season of many creatures including plants and trees. It is the junction of changing season from winter to summer. The atmosphere of spring carries viruses and pollens in the air hazardous to human health and simultaneously it’s a mating season. India therefore found out a way to solve both the issues by celebrating Holi, first day with bonfire and the second day with colours of love. Holi fire burns the germs, viruses and pollens of the air and the colours bring love and joy forgetting and forgiving all difference of human life. As India was growing barley and now growing wheat and grams in rabi season and its harvesting and selling time, therefore colours are representing the joy of good crop. The change of season affects the health and we may see more number of patients of coughing and upper respiratory infections and therefore heating of the body with bonfire and eating dates and popcorn are acting as medicines. The celebration of the festival with mud also carries ayurvedic value of balancing the vata-pitta-cough of the body. 

Astrologically, the transits of Sun and other sky objects hv impact over people’s lives and character, therefore, India celebrates festivals near the two solstices (winter and summer : uttarayan and dakshinayan; makar sakranti and kark sakranti) and two equinoxes (spring and autumn: Holi and Diwali; mesha sakranti and tula sakranti). 

It was a natural way of life understanding the astronomical events and their impacts over the nature and seasons, agriculture and human health and lives, and accordingly the celebrations, foods, actions were designed and executed. 

The legends were linked to make it a way of life. People in India follow the religious command better and faster than the scientific teachings through logic. Ultimately either to follow religious or scientific command, the purpose of life is served by celebrating festivals. 

They also supports the economy and give opportunities to the non farmers- the informal sector workers to earn their livelihoods.

India is a unique country face hardships of life but never go in depression and keep going well by celebrating festivals.

Road to Heaven in Kutch 

Few people knew about the white desert in Kutch before it was popularised by the then CM Mr. Narendra Modi. It is now one of the most popular tourist destinations of Gujarat to be visited preferably in winter. One may enjoy the place the most in full moon night when the sky globe acts as a dome, full moon as a lamp and the white earth as a bed in which one merges into the nature to realise the ecstasy of life.. the wow moment of life. Dhordo, Hodako became the popular sites after yearly celebrations of Ranotsava but now one more destination the ‘road to heaven’ is attracting more tourists. 

Gujarat and Kutch were lucky to become the part of Indus Valley Civilisation. Earlier, Dholavira (333 kms from Ahmedabad - 130 kms from Bhuj) was missed by many tourists visiting Kutch due to its awkward northwesterly location. In absence of road from Khavda to Dholavira (58 km), the salt marshes area with white salty desert was unapproachable and therefore people were missing the beauty of nature too. Tourist going from Ahmedabad to Dholavira had to travel long route via Rapar and again Rapar to Bhuj to approach other locations of Kutch converting the international border. 

All know about the Greater Rann of Kutch but who knows about Khadir? It is located at the corner of an isolated island in the Great Rann of Kutch (GRK) which has 12 villages. It is famous for Desi Pearl millet (bajara). Rotala made of pearl millet and topped with pure makkhan or ghee is the delicacy of the area. Khadir in GRK is the most popular breeding site for thousands of pink greater flamingos. Flamingos come from Central Asia after the monsoon to build their nests, breed in shifts through the winter, and disappear in the summer. GRK is therefore called a City of Flamingos and Gujarat is known as mahiar for birds to come, breed and return. 

A newly build road from Khavda to Dholavira (58 km) now popular as ‘road to heaven’ has not only changed the route of the tourists but also stimulated the growth of the villages located in this area. The tourists travelling from Bhuj may enjoy mawa (condensed milk) of Bhirandiyara and mesuk and gulabpak of Siaram Sweets of Khavda enroute. As soon as they travel few kilometres on a new road towards Dholavira they enter into the white desert area with white Rann and salt marshes area. The beginning portion and end portions of the road are dry with white cover of salt and the middle part have saline water on the land creating white image of the area. The wind mixed with moist and salinity energised the visitors. Open the windows and hood of the car and feel the great drive in heaven. Beware of the bees when you stop for photography. They don’t bite but may make uncomfortable feel with their presence and flying around. It may be seasonal. 

After a great drive on the ‘road to heaven’ you enter into the ancient harappans site of Dholavira. It is known as Kotada (large fort) spans in area of about 100 hectares surrounded by two seasonal nallahs, Mansar in north and Manhar in south. It was unearthed by Mr. JP Joshi of Archeological Survey of India in 1967-68. The city is remarkable for its exquisite town planning, monumental structures, aesthetic architecture, water management and storage system. It has oldest sign board of the world with ten large sized signs yet to be decoded. It went through the seven significant cultural changes starts right from the virgin ground to to a creative period, gateways, drainage system, seals, script board, tools, beeds, weights, items of gold, copper, stone shell and clay, the functioning pillars, free standing columns, etc, to a decline or temporary desertion to a new and different culture of diverse pottery traditions. It started with urbanisation and became totally deurbanised might be because of continuous years of droughts and the site was never occupied thereafter. The excavated site takes an hour or more walk time depending upon one’s interest and a museum built nearby explains the details with articles and their narratives. A short film tells the story of the site that gives the glimpses of our glorious past. 

The ancient harappan site of Dholavira is now occupied by the tourists as it has accommodation facility of 22 AC rooms with a restaurant. A comfortable stay with delicious food wins the heart of tourists. Thanks to G-20 summit that has made the execution of the projects faster. We have the ‘road to heaven’ and the site of Dholavira is better organised with a museum, accommodation and restaurant.

शिव संसारी।

 शिव संसारी। 

शिव बिंब है जगत प्रतिबिंब का लेकिन प्रतिबिंब से अलग नहीं। साकार भी और निराकार भी। चिति शक्ति भी और परम शिव भी। देश काल से अतीत सदा सर्वदा नित्योदित। मनुष्य का मन चाहे विह्वल हो या निश्चल शिव स्थिति में कोई फ़र्क़ नहीं। मन चाहे डामाडोल हो या ध्यानस्थ, दोनों ही स्थितियों का प्रकाशक शिव शिवरूप ही है। मन से भागे तो भी शिवमय या मनचले रहे तब भी शिवमय। मछली दरिया में कितना भी तैर ले, पानीमय है। पानी नहीं तो फिर मछली कहाँ? शिव नहीं तो फिर मन कहाँ, तन कहाँ और यह संसार कहाँ? इसलिए जब अभेद की बैठक लगानी है तब यह तन, मन, बुद्धि, अहंकार की भेदरेखाओं को मिटाना होगा। 

दो विकल्प सामने है। या तो संसार से उपराम होकर शिव में खो जाए। या मिले हुए साधन सरंजाम का उत्तम उपयोग कर शिव के संसारी रूप का भरपूर लाभ उठायें। दूसरा मार्ग पसंदीदा लगेगा क्योंकि इसमें कर्तव्य निभाने और संसार भोगने का अवसर है। यह शरीर, मन, बुद्धि सृष्टि कर्ता की योजना के अनुरूप काम न आए तो उसके होने का क्या लाभ? लेकिन सावधान रहिएगा। अगर कर्ताभाव आ गया, शिवभान छोड़ अहंभाव आ गया, तो फिर कर्मफल से छुटकारा नहीं। शिवमय होकर किये कर्म का कोई बंधन नहीं। अंदर बाहर हर स्थिति में शिव समाधि लगी रहे।  शिव के सिवा यहाँ और कुछ है भी तो नहीं।
